How BeefSocial works

PASTURE TO FREEZER,
IN THREE STEPS.

No sale barn. No middleman markup. You reserve a share directly from a Nebraska rancher, they raise and process the animal, and you pick up cut-and-wrapped beef weeks later.

01You

RESERVE YOUR SHARE

Browse ranchers in your area and pick the share size that fits your family — an eighth (~50 lb), quarter (~100 lb), half, or whole. You put down a deposit to lock in the animal and price per hanging pound.

  • See breed, finish, pasture, and processor before you commit
  • Choose from eighth, quarter, half, or whole shares
  • Price is locked at reservation — no surprise market swings
02Your rancher

RAISE & PROCESS TO YOUR CUT SHEET

Your rancher finishes the animal on their own timeline — grass, grass-and-grain, or however they've built their program. When it's time, they deliver to a state or USDA processor and your cut sheet gets filled: steak thickness, ground beef ratio, roasts, bones, organs, all of it.

  • Every step logged to a public provenance record
  • You approve the cut sheet before processing
  • Dry-aged 14–21 days, vacuum-sealed, frozen hard

PICK UP LOCAL, FILL YOUR FREEZER

We coordinate a pickup window at the processor or a nearby drop point. You bring a cooler, we hand you cut-and-wrapped beef in labeled bundles, and you settle the final balance based on the actual hanging weight.

  • One trip, months of beef in the freezer
  • Final invoice is transparent — hanging weight × your locked price
  • Meet the rancher who raised your beef if you want to
